Venter are a Polish duo renowned for their excellent production skills. They straddle the boundaries of several genres and have seen their fanbase rapidly spread across Europe, and their most recent release, a three track EP entitled 'Lost', will see them earn more admirers as they continue to sculpt enticing sounds.
'Lost’
Venter’s opener provides an effectively sculpted example of ambient yet gripping tech-house electronica, similar in style to the melancholic journeys for which the likes of Tale of Us and Mind Against have gained notoriety. The airy nature of the track is backed by an insistent groove which acts as the pillar for which the warped synth ensnares itself around, giving the track a beautiful, yet intriguing character, one which will surely reverberate around dancefloors whilst staying true to its name.
‘Translation’
‘Translation’ owes its charm and elegance to the continuing beat which echoes throughout the track. As it progresses and hastens in conjuncture with trippy synth additions, a seductive atmosphere is manufactured and remains until the track’s end, staying in line with the identity Venter crafted in ‘Lost’, whilst lending itself perfectly to summer terrace parties or to those who wish to get lost in a moment on the dancefloor.

‘Hyatt’
Venter manages to carve out a somewhat cosmic landscape which takes the listener on a journey across its moody terrain, ebbing and flowing as the capricious nature of the track presents a sound embellished with emotionally charged character. ‘Hyatt’ reinforces the notion that Venter’s work flirts with several genres without actually falling into any particular one, playfully straddling the lines of ambient electronica and tech-house.
